Application developers in many companies and across many industries are applying Agile and SCRUM principles to help deliver value to their customers and stakeholders more quickly.

Rather than using the traditional waterfall approach to project planning and waiting until the full requirements set has been defined and gathered to begin development, developers and project teams are finding that they can deliver quality software packages more quickly by taking a fresh approach to application development practices and how work is managed.

Priya Sundaravathanen, from Solutions IQ, will present her experienced perspective on how to apply these fresh development practices to YOUR next development project. The discussion will cover:

  • Introduction to AGILE and SCRUM.
  • The Agile Manifesto – what is it and what does it mean.
  • What is SCRUM and how does it fit in with Agile Development.
  • The SCRUM framework
  • Some quick tips on how to implement SCRUM in your organization/teams
  • Some success stories from Solutions IQ
