Speaker Bio:

Sherri EdwardsResource Maximizer

Sherri is a Consultant, Motivational Speaker and Trainer, with over 25 years' experience working with small-medium size businesses, non-profit organizations and public agencies.  
 
Additionally, Sherri provides coaching for individuals pursuing a career change, by design or through downsizing, merger, or returning from an extended absence from the workplace. Her clients learn how to identify their workplace demand and value, and how to market themselves effectively to obtain the type of work that fuels their passions and allows them to live their dreams. Sherri has made guest appearances to discuss career related topics on KCPQ 13 Fox News “This Morning”, and has presented at job fairs for over ten years.

In addition to her consulting work, her current projects include the facilitation of the job search portion of the Transition Assistance Program for individuals leaving the military to return to civilian employment, communications-training classes for the USDA Graduate School, and continuing education classes covering effective communication, strategic networking, managing multiple commitments and goal setting for Bellevue Community College.

Sherri is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, the Puget Sound Career Development Association, the Employment Council, the Washington State Professional Technical Diversity Network, and the Puget Sound Diversity Network.  Sherri also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Information Technology Department at Renton Community College.

Registration Policy: We enthusiastically accept reservations for meetings up to and including the day of the meeting.

We gladly take cancellations up to the 3rd day before the meeting.

No-shows will be charged.

Traveling North or South on I-5:

  • Take the 45th Street Exit and go Westbound on 45th Street. (From I-5 Southbound turn right on 45th; from I-5 Northbound turn left).
  • After a mile, 45th will jog right, work its way under the Aurora Bridge (Hwy 99), then become 46th Street.
  • At the first light turn left onto Fremont Ave. Follow Fremont Ave down to 39th.
  • Turn right on 39th.
  • Turn right on Leary way.
  • The next light is 43rd. Hale's is on the left, on the corner, 4301 Leary Way NW.
